GAMBLING
I’ve never been a risk taker. I hate hate hate losing. I hate taking chances. I think about everything. Every move is calculated. I hate investing and not getting anything in return.
That’s gotten me in trouble in the past. Protecting myself came first and foremost. And it resulted in.. unpleasant situations. I didn’t invest, so I didn’t feel as if I lost. But I couldn’t have won either.
I’ve said this a long time ago but..
“Giving your all to something/someone is a risk, but so is holding back.”
You can’t protect yourself from sadness without protecting yourself from happiness.
That’s the way the world works.
